For the record I posted this before the Ballinger home run. Dang. Just got to hope the Yankees are getting it all out of their system so they can lose in the divisional round.

000

I'll go ahead and switch over to the series I care more about now anyway. Pretty sure Boston's season just exploded in front of them and I'm much more interested in seeing a sad PCA.

000

I don't know what advertisements are supposed to do but here is what they do to me. I see your annoying and unfunny ad and I become angry with your company. If your ad directly interrupts what I'm trying to watch such as a mid-inning ad I will remember and intentionally not buy your product.

Did a Rick Vaughn reference just get used to describe a Max Fried fastball?

So let me get this straight. Fanatics is going to effectively give people store credit for every bet on their sportsbook win or lose so people can be lured to spend even more money buying swag for their team because Fanatics have a monopoly on licensed gear That sure seems safe & free market.

000

The mid inning advertisements are out of hand this postseason. Do we really need an ad that no one wants to see in between batters. All it does is guarantee I'm not going to Ace Hardware because you're pissing me off.

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 5h

That shouldn't be a hit for Chisholm. Bag was not covered by Contreras. No idea how that is not scored an error. Throw was on target from Story on his dumper.

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 6h

Astros gone. Need the Phillies to win game 3 and I can exhale about the worst teams in these playoffs.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 6h

Seems like its harder without the trashcan. BYE BYE ASTROS.

110

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Yeah I'm actively not watching these playoffs because I don't care about any of the teams in it and I'm super tired of watching the same eight teams always be there. I'll likely give in during the championship series but I just can't be bothered right now.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Yeah, so the last place we need to build a ballpark is in a National Park.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Man if the Rays and Guards both bow out in the 2nd round I'm going to hard pressed to give a crap about this postseaon after that. So many teams I flat dislike in here.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

So hey @pirates.com that's a no on the accountability promised by Travis Williams then huh? Just gonna run it back and hope we get better decisions? Right. www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/09/pira...

Pirates Not Expected To Make Leadership Changes For 2027

Ben Cherington expects to return as Pittsburgh's GM in 2027. MLB Trade Rumors has more from Cherington's end-of-season presser.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Unfortunately for the Pirates "good" means towing the company line, setting up narratives for the PR department of the team, and being hyperbolic over the smallest success. I would do anything for a house cleaning of Pirates Broadcasting.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Last game for Verlander. Good. One less Astros cheater playing baseball.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Its September, there will be no more baseball in this building this year, falling short of a January stated goal, and the @pirates.com are posting social media garbage of rookies dancing in the looker room. There is owed accountability from this club. Ben has to go. Kelly needs a bench coach.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Sherman, set the wayback machine to PiratesFest 2026. Travis Williams says: "We're going to hold ourselves accountable to (the goal of making the playoffs). We want you to hold us accountable to that." When does the accountability start @pirates.com?

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

So, Pirates officially eliminated. We're firing Cherington for the bullpen he assembled before the break and Kelly for how he managed relievers all season right? We win 1/4 of the games we blew, and I mean BIG leads in, the @pirates.com are in the playoffs.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

My Ballpark. That I can still remember a time when the actually won the Division. Clemente. The fact that we're named what we are for "stealing" a player while there was a reserve clause.

041

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Someone shoud tell Alvy he's not as good as he thinks with all his snap throws.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

That's a postseason I legit do not want to watch. A lot of the same teams as always in there. Cannot stand Astros, Braves, Phillies, Dodgers. Cannot root for the Cubs with PCA on the team (and a division rival). Really... I have to pull for the Crew, Rays, Jays, or White Sox?

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Buccos not letting go. This has to be the clubhouse vibe over the last 15. Need to go 11-4. We'll probably know by Sunday. #LetsGoBucs #RaiseIt

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

I think its cute that MLB announced a spring training schedule for 2027 like there will be a spring training in 2027.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I don't watch the NFL, but seems justified

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

At some point the @pirates.com need to remember they are paying an employee a salary to do the job they want not the job he wants. He's not going to cut the club any breaks come this winter.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Can someone please explain why the @pirates.com keep forcing Cruz into CF when he is the lesser defensive option over a guy hitting near .300? He's a DH. Just get him used to that idea. He's not going to get better in the field.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Eduardo Perez is such a hack. Completely misrepresented Mlodzinski's entire season during pregame yesterday. Dude just makes stuff up because he does not follow small market teams.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I still do not understand why the baseball media apparatus is SO invested in players making as much money as possible so that they eventually will price fans out of the ballpark, killing their own livlihoods. Runaway player salary = faster ticket price increase = less fans can attend.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Rafael Flores took a long time in the dugout postgame and did not head for the clubhouse. He watched the fireworks from the infield grass like someone taking it in for the last time. #LetsGoBucs

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Tarp is off and they are prepping like they expect on time first pitch at PNC. #LetsGoBucs. @dugoutradar.bsky.social

Yay! Happened on my road trip. Yay!

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Three games in Cleveland down. The drive home is done. Three more games in Pittsburgh. Six games two cities 6 days. I'm getting too old for this.

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Well this happened on the tour

000

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

So starts 6 straight Mets games.

100

Oz @leftfieldcrew.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Thats two errors on Nick Gonzalez tonight though he'll be charged with none. #LetsGoBucs

000

My god if that is all the @pirates.com do today its not enough.

000

Man I am in Cleveland for theee Mets games starting tomorrow and this team will be unrecognizable.

000

So apparently the deadline strategy for the @pirates.com is to see how much more they can piss their fans off before they lock them out at the start of next year. #LetsGoBucs

000

Welp @pirates.com now you're down to two reasonable arms which can help this bullpen with Raley off the table. You should, you know, do something with 8 hours to go. Right now it looks like you are giving up on the day you are charging STH their first payment. #LetsGoBucs

000

Office: You Gotta Do Something

So the @pirates.com have 11 hours to do more than pick up one questionable reliever to fix a bullpen which we've known is bad since May. Many of the good pieces gone already. If we don't get two more arms Ben Cherington should be gone #LetsGoBucs

The nonsense that teams can "put forth the effort" of the Dodgers is exactly that. Not all teams can take out a mortgage on the future for success now. No team should be allowed to. Most teams have 1/10th the market based revenue LAD have. Stop selling "owners bad" to make your CBA argument.

000

Instead they'll continue to frame the players as everyday guys who are just like you. Those everyday guys can't be bothered to sign a baseball card if their sponsorship forbids it. Don't doubt for a second that they are just as greedy as the evil owners.

000

Still waiting for a sports journalist to write the article on how inflation of player salary being double that of everyday fan salary is not sustainable for the business of those everyday fans buying tickets. It's going to take you seeing this issue has more than two sides. I'll wait though.

000

Happy to be wrong for a change on Soto. #RaiseIt
