Chelsea and very socially liberal politics, so basically you'll get angry at something.

You are complaining about unseasonably warm and dry weather. I'm taking a breather after priming 60% of the models I've built and not painted yet. We are not the same. I won't lie, I am high as a kite on paint fumes right now

Probably shouldn't be working with this when I'm seriously considering a lab nap (Especially as this is only one of two power supplies in series, delivering about 8 kW of dc. The thing they are powering massively heats the room up, which isn't helping)

Oh fuck me, Nandy has done the 'Enoch's concerned constituent' bit from the fucking Rivers of Blood speech www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
She said: "The alternative would be to ask communities who have already seen their local community quadruple in size to take more of the load - and I think that's deeply unfair."

Nandy said Piddington was "not actually" unusual, adding: "In my constituency there are particular streets where that has happened to the community."

For some reason I thought about the HeNe lasers we have dotted around the lab. (Don't shove these up your or anyone's chuff, the front of them may still hold an electrical charge that delivers an un-fun amount of whack)
A scientific HeNe laser. An approximately 30 cm long and quite girthy cylinder metal cylinder. It's a class 3R, so be careful not to point the output into an unprotected eye.

Replying to my very obvious SEVEN DAY OLD joke like this is a one way trip to blockoland, do not pass go.
Uh, even as a bit could we NOT do this? It's a gross way to devalue any woman's work, and it doesn't even have the internal logic of good shade.

After all, it's rather doubtful that A.N. Wilson's minor Brit-Lit name opened any doors at the University of Pennsylvania classics department in 2002.

1) Not the PM, he was chancellor of the exchequer at the time 2) This was made as a response to the furlough scheme that allowed employers to pay 80% of employees wages to stay at home and that there might be a company to go back to once lockdown lifted. 3) The BBC is not a state broadcaster.
Tweet from someone: The ridiculous cartoon illustration of Rishi Sunak as Superman used by BBC News to illustrate the furlough scheme with the text: The PM killed an untold number of people during a pandemic and burnt £850 million and he was depicted in state media as our benevolent saviour, I think that drove me mad and I never recovered, the state literally convinced people to willingly be culled en masse by an infectious disease
