6 of us met for lunch at the Bowling Club. I had Braised Steak followed by Lemon Meringue with Cream. Afterwards, I went to another friend’s house to watch a film about the British War Artist, Eric Ravilious. He was the first British War Artist to die in World War 2. He produced some beautiful work.

Well, I’ve had an interesting time today ! I met 7 friends at the Museum for coffee so lots of chat. Then I offered to take one friend home - she has a walker.On the way to the car park I tripped and fell ! 2 men came to my aid with tissues for the blood ! They helped me up. So kind !

Today is Mother’s Day in the U.K. Flowers and a card were delivered this morning. My sister and I had Afternoon Tea delivered to my house this afternoon and we enjoyed it very much !
