I finished making the new art journal last night. Watercolor paper. 12 x 9 inches. I totally forgot to take the book tape into consideration when making the front cover. Oops! I also used the backboard of the paper pack to make the cover so its slightly too small. Not perfect but still okay!

Bringing the old gouache pallet outside. Yeah its all dried out but it also paints better this way. For me at least! When its "fresh" the paint is too wet and soupy for my tastes.

#art So I was going for creepy here. But. I did not put nearly enough work into the initial sketch so I was working with a poor foundation for this one. Lesson learned! Tho the disproportionate features kinda adds to the uncanny valley vibe hahaha
