Our demands for the local elections - No Palantir, freedom of expression for health workers and don't be like Manchester

Who gets our vote? 1. Support the campaign for getting Palantir out of the NHS by calling on national government to terminate the contract when it is reviewed next year.

2. Call on local health bodies such as Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust to ensure that no health workers are disciplined simply for expressing views in support of Palestine.

3. Help ensure that no overseas health workers fall foul of visa requirements and face deportation as a result of their pay falling below Home Office salary thresholds as has happened in Manchester.

Out with our junior docs at LGI today. No one wants NHS staff out on picket lines. The politicians need to repay docs what they are owed and continue to pay them prpperly, give them positions and staffing numbers to deliver fantastic care for patients. Bevan would have sorted this.
