Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 3hFurther update: I successfully got shot with both the Novavax and flu shots, at the NE Portland Costco! Recommend making an appointment because the pharmacy line was long, but maybe at other times of day walking up would be no problem. 020

Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Anyone know where to get the Novavax Covid shot in Portland right now? We had an appointment for Costco but they texted this morning that they don’t have Novavax right now. Wondering if it’s available elsewhere or if it’s out everywhere 130
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I’ve officially turned my formerly-soup-averse partner into a soup lover! We’re both recovering from a cold and not up to cooking so I presented two dinner options from the freezer: previously made soup or crunchwrap filling and I’ll make easy crunchwraps. He chose soup over crunchwraps! 0100
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 25/09/2026And, as I wrote on the back cover, zero Al was used in the making of this zine (or anything else made by Lee) —all puzzles were totally hommade with the help of letterboxd and wikipedia. 010

Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Anyone have a MacBook Neo? Thinking of replacing my dead laptop with one. I’ll just use it for web browsing /in-browser work like google spreadsheets/docs and for screensharing from my Mac desktop to work on the couch. Seems like it should be fine for what I need! 021
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I was alllmost done with August’s old pattern refresh/rerelease, doing a final proof, and I realized this pattern, originally written in 2009, didn’t include stitch counts! In context of what it is, it’s not a huge deal, but I can’t let the rerelease go without them. So, I’ll be finishing tomorrow. 010
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Okay here’s what we found in Damascus (east of Clackamas) this morning! $1 each. A couple of criterions, some kino lorbers, and several new-ish movies! A lot that I haven’t seen yet but were already on my watchlist, and a few I hadn’t heard of but they looked neat! 130
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 29/08/2026I barely use bluesky these days and I don’t know if I want to try to use it more…social media is so weird now… would this be a fun spot to talk about physical movie collecting? We drove out to Damascus and found soo many bins of DVDs including some pretty new releases & obscure stuff! Very exciting! 170

Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Oh HEY ALSO, I just realized while looking at those screenshots that I’d said to only sync one playlist but there are a buuunch of other songs there that weren’t in that playlist. Very wtf apple. Thinking I’ll switch to the plexamp app since I already use plex and pay for a subscription to that. 010
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 14/08/2026I know apple has been making the music app worse for playing local files over the years as it wants you to pay for streaming but it’s SO BAD with album art now it reeeally feels like they are trolling me. EVERY. SINGLE. ALBUM is randomly the wrong cover. I’ve tried deleting all & resyncing 3 times!! 120
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Update: yesterday I downloaded the free affinity app and edited a bunch of photos and played around a bit. Switching apps always comes with some annoyance at the minor differences but overall I’m happy with it! Planning to cancel CC next week! 140
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 12/08/2026💯 I’d think an anti-AI design/editing software would be popular but what do I know! 020
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 12/08/2026I believe an acrobat-only subscription is an option (I plan to do an indesign-only one) and my brief research said you can open psd files in the affinity/canva app. Adobe uses/pushes ai too, so as long as it’s an option that I can choose not to use, seems like a lateral move with regard to that? 120
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 12/08/2026From what I’ve read it seems that the canva/affinity app pushes you to pay for AI features but if you don’t want them / don’t pay then there’s no AI? Also, indesign is what I use most and care most about, so I’m thinking I’ll pay for that only and use the free app instead of illustrator & photoshop. 000
Lee @leedoesstuff.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Wow I’m extremely not up on graphic design news — just learning now that canva bought affinity and combined it all into one app AND it’s free now. I was paying a very discounted rate for CC for a year but now that’s over and it’s full price… think it’s time to finally leave adobe behind. Downsides? 240
