New protections for leaseholders are welcome progress. I've been raising concerns from residents across Newbury and West Berkshire about poor service, unclear charges & lack of accountability from managing agents. These reforms are a step forward, but there's more to do. buff.ly/dERTopk

The Liberal Democrats have launched a £600 million maternity rescue plan to make every maternity unit safe. This includes guaranteed one-to-one midwifery care for every woman in labour, 24/7 consultant cover, investment in facilities, 300 new consultant midwives, and more. More: buff.ly/OLlZQdR

For many people in Newbury & West Berkshire, the local pharmacy is the NHS close to home. Our 12 pharmacies dispense 111,000+ prescriptions a month and have saved 8,000+ GP appointments through Pharmacy First. I raised their case in Parliament and called for better support. More: buff.ly/LaDGw4k

In Parliament I called for a joined-up approach to VAWG, bringing domestic abuse, mental health, and suicide-prevention work together. The Govt's aim to halve VAWG over the next decade is welcome, but it must be backed by long-term support for charities like Project Salama. More: buff.ly/5WEVW9l

We're being told to save water. Yet, Thames Water is losing 570 million litres of drinking water every day through leaks. That's their best figure since 1992 Residents shouldn't have to pay the price for years of failure. We need a stronger regulator to hold them to account. More: buff.ly/cgk4N6J
