It’s cute that this person thinks corporate Democrats try and ‘fix’ anything. They don’t, they just pretend to. Vote DSA!

My Catholic family gave it up a long time ago because I just wouldn’t stop pointing out all the child rape cover-ups and contradictions in the Bible. 🤷‍♂️

Hijab-inspired secular accessorization. Things I wish I didn’t know…

Watching “American Cookie” challenge on GBBO and as an American baker, I want to gouge my eyes out and light myself of fire watching this. 😫

Watching Stardust. Such an amazing movie! 🤩

After watching SNL UK, it’s clear that the U.S. cast, particularly Colin Jost and Michael Che are just not funny. Damn, they suck, and are too worried about offending their rich friends.

3. Weather Machine: Overly powerful government action and actions/sequence very railroaded with little strategic variety 4. Drillers: Insane down time between turns for 3/4 players. Great idea and theme, but needed to find a way to get players to do clean up while the next person goes. Frustrating.

Board games #boardgames I’ve been most disappointed in over the past few years: 1. Civolution: cards are too difficult to acquire. Billed as a sandbox game, but you really need to adhere to the end round goals 2. Collect!: mechanics and game just don’t come together for a fun party game (1/2)

I’d recommend fleabag both seasons over Sopranos. I watch the series at least once a year.

Sen. Susan Collins helped steer millions in federal defense contracts to Navatek, whose CEO illegally funneled thousands of dollars to her campaign. The FBI sought to launch a probe and was eyeing Collins and other lawmakers. Then Trump gutted the unit in charge. THREAD 🧵

It’s wild that so many people never grow up or learn that there is a difference between something they like, their emotional reaction to something, and the quality of that film, song, media. It’s even worse when they tie their identity to it. 🤦‍♂️ /sigh

American standards for pop music have gotten so low that pop starts don’t even sing anymore. wtf is happening!? (Madonna confessions 2, Troye Sivan, Miley Cyrus…)

Whoever writes songs for Addison Rae is a genius. And I’m super thankful all her songs are better sung by other people e.g. Rebecca Black, Ben Platt.

All of our game group really enjoyed it! But it’ll take a few more plays to know for sure. But definitely fun and challenging in a good way.

I disagree with this. What is “AI”? Predictive texting? Google results? Complex LLMs doing medical research? Making these sorts of blanket statements aren’t helpful. LLMs can be used for good. And are in some cases. We need a government that can regulate tech.

Is it legally ok to harm your roommate if he’s been loudly eating a salad for over an hour next to you while you watch TV? Who eats a salad that long?

Boomers truly are the worst of our kind. In line at the post office and all the boomers are complaining about the wait and lack of employees. Hey Boomer, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t cut all the taxes and then bitch about the stuff your taxes pay for being shitty. You get what you pay for.
