Oof. Idk I guess I expected more out of Megazone 23. The plot was fantastic but character development was just a mess. I did feel like the show was a sequel to Macross and I could see how it inspired Dark City and The Matrix, but I’m sorta glad I avoided it on vhs back in the day. #anime

If someone was following my car, I’d go through a drive thru and order food. They’d look really stupid not ordering anything or just parking and waiting. I could also tell the people in the drive thru what’s going on and get the perp on video or drive away while they’re stuck in line.

While watching the OG #muppets movie, there are 2 things that are charming about it. First it’s appealing to all ages without excess melodrama or high stakes between characters. And second, for its ability shoehorn in so many top tier stars of the day, it actually makes it a lot of fun.
