I figure I'd be a shinji, but surprised how varied the percentages were. That amount of Gendo is a bit worrying ngl

Been organizing some old xrd vods and need to go through them and start making clips. You forgot how many gems you have hidden away (From 2023)

Words cannot describe how surreal winning OMs was and @espadapete.bsky.social was on point to describe all the anger and frustration I had up that point. Now finally there and made everything worth it Beautiful. Can't describe in any other way

I wish all my mutuals a wonderful Trans Day of Visibility. You all deserve to love your lives and are loved for just being yourselves

An drawing I did during Pride Month at my old job

25) What Comes After: Cute little game about self-love. Took an hour too play, knew what it wanted to do, and never overstayed its welcome

24) Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Got this on sale for $20. One of the Metroidvanias that has come out the last few years. It's only sin is that it was made by Ubisoft and left the Lost Crown to die on release

23) The Stanley Parable Felt lukewarm on the game after "finishing it". I do enjoy how the game commentates depending on how you're following the game's intent.

22) Static Shock Watched a handful of eps with friends in discord. I miss this show so much. Its corny in some parts, but it has aged well. Need to give it a proper rewatch soon

100

21) Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Live up to all the praise it has been given It's also gonna be the FF7 of this generation for people being obnoxious about it by spoiling the game at other people's expense. Ty public libraries for having game catalogs. Support your local libraries

20) Mao by Rumiko Takahashi Read 22 vols of this while being sick in February. Reusing a lot elements from Inuyasha to create a more structured storyline, but having a lot of fun to see where the narrative goes.

100

19) SpongeBob Squarepants the Broadway Musical (rewatch) Still love it. It's good to know this was the last thing Stephen Hillenburg approved of. Felt spiritually aligned with early SpongeBob episodes. Still funny how Slater's relationship with Ariana Grande are some people's intro to the musical

100

18) Helltaker Fun puzzle game that's been immortalized in my mind for the titular cast than the game itself

17) Ping Pong (Manga & Movie Adaptation) Going back and reading the manga and the film, it's made me appreciate the Anime. Not cause there bad, but just seeing the mediums convey the story. With the anime changing and adding that idk was not in the original. Need to research the anime adaptation

16) Ping Pong the Animation (rewatch) Another thing that got me through my FF trip. This might be one of my favorite anime. I always find something new on the rewatch. (Helps it's 11 ep long)

14) Frosty Faustings XVIII Had some buyers remorse until the event happened. Was a blessing in disguise to everything happening in the U.S. Regionals are great source of motivation to improve both my skills & mental health

Have a soft spot for the DS port of Sonic Colors. It's Sonic Rush 3 in all but name while differentiating enough to be its own thing.

1121

13) A Hat in Time Enjoyed a lot of the moment to moment. Wish some of the world's had more time to develop. The Murder on the Orient Express level being a personal highlight

12) Goodbye, Eri Not my favorite, but god I love Fujimoto's One-Shots so much

100

11) MetaMaus A lot of fun hearing Spiegelman's relationship with his work and the relationship of people, organizations, and entitles talk about the Holocaust. Great book to read about the creative process. Just not to read in public

100

10.5) One thing that was surreal while visiting was thinking how some panels & artwork in this exhibit have been around longer than some people have been alive

10) Art of Manga exhibit at de Young Went to the Exhibit during MLK weekend as a bday treat. Gift shop was mid, but it was a good time seeing a lot of iconic panels and page spreads.

9) Halo Combat Evolved Played Halo 1 via the anniversary ver on the MCC. I've only played the campaign, but I enjoyed it despite early fps jank. The warthog in 1 is the worst car I've driven in a video game yet. Curious how Halo 2 holds up. MCC still a terrible product

100

8) Odd Taxi An anime I knew was great, but never got into until watching it with friends. It went places I wasn't expecting. Gonna be a great time on a second watch.

100

7) Jellyfish Princess (manga) Coming from being an anime only fan, it was a great time revisiting the sisters of Amars and the rest of the cast. It dragged on near the last third of the manga, but it ended on a good note. I hope we get a complete anime adaptation. I miss these weirdos so much

100

6) LOTR (1978) An middling road that makes a lot of the rotoscoping and the animation as a whole feel so jarring that it makes the Hobbit special age better by comparison. I'm glad to at least seen it, so I can see how the Jackson films do well as adaptations

100

5) ON-GAKU Our Sound Pretty fun film that's just making music for the sake of music. It's weird to watch a film that both quiet and dry. It makes the imagery for the music within the film a lot stronger. Recommending this movie to all the audiophiles in my life

4) The Origins of Oz Found this while going through a library and it was interesting hearing the story of Oz before the movie. I should read the book some time in the future

3) Fist of the North Star Worked through the manga as an anime only watcher. The last 3 vols were a nothing burger, but glad I got to read it all. Faults and all. Gonna work on a physical collection

2) 47 Ronin by Stan Sakai Know of the tale, but never engaged to it until now. It's a great time going while going through Stan Sakai's work. So weird seeing so amphomorphic samurai and remember that Sakai can draw humans. Comic was pretty good

100

1) Professor Layton and the Curious Village Was into the story of Professor Layton than I thought I was. Not the biggest fan of moving around the map with a stylus, but fun playing on og hardware. Also realizing that solving specific types of puzzles is a blind spot for me.

Media wise nothing specific outside of video games this year. Don't want to constrain myself into enjoying other stuff. Main theme is staying more physical with media. I've got a good month of backlog for the backlog thread
