I drop names of news pubs and use every trick from my science journalism background to not be defrauded out owed funds. Variations of: "Oh hai, I'm medical science journalist who is personally friends with investigative reporters who eat healthcare CEOs for breakfast, just FYI." (sends tip to KFF)

If you have a library card, you can access Kanopy and Hoopla and you bet I use every one of my Kanopy tickets every month. Excellent streaming service with an incredible cult horror section, and Hoopla gives you access to a whole world of audiobooks. Use em!
