I miss having the free time and energy to do art.

Right, so Linktree has gone the way of slopware now. Here’s my carrd instead: leafiu-art.carrd.co

I swear, BOTH tumblr and BlueSky are in a race to see who can make their site the most hostile for artists.

I thought that go4Know weirdo was a one off thing, but it turns out he’s blocked by over 80,000 or so users, making him in at least the top ten of most blocked users on BlueSky. That being said: Go support real art made from real human beings and not generative botslop.

I’m not canon compliant with how I draw them- and I’ll continue to draw them like so

Queenie and Kinger depicted in the actual show. Their robe and eyeball designs are the same model but with different colors.

My drawing of Queenie and Kinger. I’ve over-exaggerated the fluffiness of their robes. Queenie’s folds on the opposite side compared to Kinger. The cuffs of Queenie’s gloves are also ruffled. Queenie’s eyes aren’t also as severely bloodshot as Kinger’s.

Seeing Queenie finally appear in Episode 8 unabstracted might motivate me to color this in.

I actually still have the 2012 version, which is where I do almost all my digital sketches. The newer versions have nicer features for coloring, rendering, and layer organizing, but the old version feels more fluid when it comes to sketching.

I love that SBP doesn’t require me to pay a subscription- and I can get cool brushes for free.

Can’t do an art summary, but I at least did enough drawings for an #ArtvsArtist this year.

From left to right- Top row: Rosie and Alastor, Virgilia, Archibald Asparagus and Kinger. Middle row: Kinger and Queenie as humans, photo of me- but I’m covering my face with Gangle’s mask, Kinger and Queenie as they are in the show. Bottom row: Sketch of my Human Rosie headcanon, Ronove and Virgilia, Sketch of my Human Archibald headcanon.

Hey so, don’t fucking follow me if you use generative AI to create slop and try to pass it off as “art”. You’re not welcome here 🔪🖕 #antiAI #antigenerativeAI #AIisnotart

I don’t think loving arachnids is exclusively evil. Personally I think arachnids are cool as hell. I just thought it would be an interesting juxtaposition for Evil Queenie to be into Arachnology to contrast Queenie being into Entomology.

Even a drawing made by someone inexperienced and just getting into art is more valuable than a soulless, generated image.

The art of my current icon. I originally drew this back in 2022. I had an idea for a Dustox Gijinka. Her name is Britney. She's based on the Dustox I have in my Sapphire/AlphaSapphire game. 🦋🫧
