this has been the hardest one for me, i think. mostly because normally we see people continue to be awful in secret so its easier to just add them to the pile i dont think ill be upset any which way the bricks fall here as far as him being a creator goes. its not my job to litigate. i can just walk

it's true that it's both jacob's fault and the fault of the person who brought this forward whatever journey jacob takes im not gonna be a part of it. at the end of the day i just needed to decide what im gonna do, and my gutt reaction of rage and hurt shouldnt override my moral convictions.

i was on it for a year before i started getting really bad symptoms and had to stop. it was the only time in my life where i felt normal with food, in control, and far far less anxious. if its good for you, it tends to be a game changer. i still learned a lot from being on it.

if it's generic music and you dont have an ear for mixing, pay attention to the lyrics and how intentional both the word patterns and word emphasis is. it will feel less poetic and intentioned, like a badly rewritten song but id also argue if you don't like pop music you can just avoid the genre

i have noticed this is harder for folks with music when they arent musicians or composers. i can pretty easily identify things as someone who makes a lot of music, but ive had to point it out to partners who love music and despise AI on several ocassions. expertise bias on that front, i think.

ddo - building and frameworks are really fun in games and i really enjoy optimising. an ever present reminder that i can take it too far, too. tales of phantasia - dhaos was right, cless was right. fuck tech bros, they caused all this and dhaos deserved way way better. taught me nuance.

deltarune and outer wilds i rant enough about mml - taught me its okay to just enjoy worlds and be aimless chrono trigger - i still cant quantify why i love this, why its good. i get something meaningful out of it every time i play it every few years. its pure, simple, and special.
