Had to stop to get wee one back to sleep, but was able to come back and finish the layer I was working on. 5 layers into the grey cloth and the texturing has begun.

It came to my attention today that this model has been WIP for TWO YEARS. Parenting takes a lot of time, because I will not be my father. I started it much prior to my child's birth. One day, it will be finished. #Nerdlings #PaintingMiniatures #WIPWednesday

Here's some photos of them. I crimped the clips onto the brass rods. The washers are glued to one half dowel so the other side is free to move to change the rod position or hold something else.

The time I repainted a Schleich Jack Russell toy to look like a friend's own dog to go on her wedding cake. Different from what I normally paint. Big hit though.

Hey #BugSky can anyone confirm this is Hyalophora euryalus? Found alive in coastal British Columbia, left to fly away. I think it's a male, by the antennae. #Bugs #Moth #Insects #Butterfly but not. #Nerdlings because it's cool and people might like it.

Fairly certain that this loose bit that had nothing to do with the bubble gun is in fact a micro USB socket housing. It got into the fan, broke it, and jammed it so the motor couldn't turn. I also broke a nail getting everything apart. Still absolutely worth the effort.

Surgery on a Temu bubble gun. Is the toy worth it? No. Is my child's joy? 1000 times over. Old one's trigger failed. Jump the terminals and it works. New one was working fine then suddenly the fan shattered. There was something inside that was loose and not part of the whole. Swap fans n should work
