Finished, for basically an indie team making a first person SH that was pretty impressive. The sound is excellent (it’s not Yamaoka but Pilotpriest does a very good job), was genuinely scary at points, and has solid puzzles. Not sure about the story though, it’s good but kinda felt… straightforward?

I’d still say Stand Alone Complex is my favorite version of GitS (that got 2 big seasons to be fair), but this was pretty fun. Science Saru was a perfect choice in adapting the original manga’s more charmingly expressive style, it looks outstanding. Though I do think as a show it’s a bit faithful

The Avatar shows have solid animation for what they are but this is a pretty stark difference, goes all out with extremely fluid movement and constant mix of cool 2D/3D effects. IF ONLY I could’ve seen this in a theater and clearly that was the intention when it was being made, fuck off Paramount

New Deltarune chapter was great and probably the coolest gameplay of the 5 so far, though after 4 kinda expected bit more plot momentum with this one. But with all this build up for the last two chapters I’m really excited to see how it sticks the landing. Weird route is uhhh… interesting also
