Today Anglo American are holding a shareholder meeting where they will vote on the merger with Teck Resources, which would see their HQ shift to Canada. We’ll be at the meeting to raise our concerns about this move enabling Anglo to evade accountability for the harms of its mining operations.

The company’s disinvestment from the country and proposed merger with Teck Resources (which will be voted on tomorrow) put this in serious jeopardy.
