His research focused on the development of radiation dosimeters for monitoring patient doses during radiotherapy for cancer treatment, a vital step toward improving patient safety and treatment accuracy.

🌟 Proud to see this major milestone for cancer equity in the Mid-West. Limerick Cancer Trials at UHL were the sole Irish recipient of the prestigious Movember funding, which allows research into improving prostate cancer care for older men living in rural communities.

Calls for prostate screening programme boosted as study shows it could save many lives
The case for the roll out of screening programmes for prostate cancer has been strengthened following a major trial showing it could save many lives, according to an Irish specialist.
