EXCEPT - the SBA already has regional offices to help borrowers directly. Also, over 90% of SBA loans are through the 7(a) program, where borrowers MUST work through a lender. They can't work with the SBA directly. The SBA workers in DC at the HQ are not meeting with borrowers facte to face. 🧵/2
