🚨 NEWS The energy price cap has increased. This will pile even more pressure on people on the lowest incomes, who are already having to cut back on food and skip meals to cover the cost of their energy bills. The UK government must, at the very least, make sure everyone can afford the essentials.

That it is way below living standards and it even makes it more difficult for people to get back into work.
That you have to prove your eligibility - they don't just grant you it. And if you're a single adult you're only entitled to around £350 a month! Who would choose that?!
How hard it is to get in the first place.
That you can be in a high-ranking job with a good position but part-time and have to claim UC to top up your wages to get by, even if it's just to live in an infested council flat.
You cannot live on it only exist.
