Actually, my dad isn’t as bad as he was yesterday, because he’s not on so much medication. The doctor did another scan and couldn’t find anything wrong on his remaining bowel. So now, he’s back to his stable self. Still… 🥺

Unfortunately, my dad took a turn for the worse. He has been getting consecutive infections, and not responding to treatments. And even if he does make it out, he won’t be the same again. I don’t think he’s going to make it. 😭

The latest I’ve heard about my dad, is that he’s almost awake. Almost. It’s still early days, but I’m still hoping for a speedy recovery for him.

My dad is still sedated and is still supported by his breathing tube. But he can definitely breathe on his own. Not only can he slowly move about and hear things, but he’s also taking the nutrition well.

Well, my dad went through a stable night. In fact, he has remained like that since his operation. But now, they’re removing his oxygen tube, to see if he can breathe on his own. Let’s pray that he does. 🙏🏻 🥺

According to my older brother, my dad’s blood pressure is much better than it was yesterday. But, obviously, the nurses are constantly checking up on him. He’s still unconscious but stable.

I’ve just learned that my dad pulled through the surgery! 🥹 They’re just making him able to breathe. All I can do is give a HUGE thanks to the NHS for doing such a brilliant job!! 🙏🏻

It’s worse than we thought. My dad didn’t respond to the antibiotics and is now in surgery. He has survived the anaesthetic, but all we can do is pray for him to make it. 🙏🏻 😢

I've decided to cancel my market on 3rd October 2026. I've just learned that my dad had to be hospitalised after having tonsillitis and being weak from the antibiotics. I don't think preparing for my market whilst dealing with this is a good idea. Let's just hope he gets well soon. 🙏

Hey guys! I know we all like to joke about July being pride 2.0 / Wrath month, but let's also remember it's disability pride month too! Many of us are both LGBTQ+ and live with disabilities and it's more important than ever that both groups stick together and support each other!

The colours corresponding with the following meanings:

Charcoal Grey: Mourning for people who have died due to ableist violence, abuse, suicide, and illness.

Red Stripe: Physical disabilities.

Green Stripe: Sensory disabilities.
