So I voted yesterday. In case you live in Tennessee and aren’t aware, we have a primary going on for things like school board, county commission, and Roads Commissioner. I pulled a Democratic ballot and I had two names to vote for and one to write in. All were unopposed. But it’s so important. VOTE!

I’m on vacation in Puerto Rica so of course we had to attend their #NoKings rally. They combined this with a protest against a billionaire development. Maybe 2000 people and tons of unions represented. Just as you’d expect, lots of music.

We purchased this view 5 years ago. This is the southern end of the Appalachian Mountain range, the oldest mountains in the world. They used to be as high as the Himalayan mountains but have eroded over millennia. I am one lucky human to get to watch over this landscape.

The GOP hold a 6 seat lead in the House. One is in Arizona where a Dem has won but Johnson won’t swear her in. Another is in Texas in a safe Dem district where 2 Democrats must have a runoff that Abbot is refusing to schedule. The 3rd is TN7 where @aftynbehn.bsky.social is going to beat the MAGA!
