My newly adult kid is in DC with her BF and their family. She just called and said she got to see "The big stick". 🤔 I obviously made her explain. 🤦‍♀️ "Child, that is The Washington Monument" I blame BF and fam who've turned her MAGA and rotted her brains. I love them personally but...lort help me.

Just turned 40. Last year I went on a banned book spree. Tons of dystopian themes. My favorite was Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler. I loved it so much I bought the graphic novel versions

I ordered a dress presumably from China in February. I messaged them in March asking if it woukd arrive by my event April 10th. Was assured it would. I messaged them again Friday inquiring the status. I'm now being issued a refund. I'm pissed more about everything else this is affecting, but still..

Our first doggo, Bentley James Thornhill, passed this afternoon. He turned 14 Jan 31st. He lived a great life and passed peacefully in his bed. I will miss this spunky pug boi 🥺💔

Hollywood cemetery in Richmond VA. These are the Graves of 6 children of John and Cornelia Bacon. The first child passed in 1849, but the main structure is 4 children who all passed in the month of March 1858. The final child passed July 1858. I researched, but could not find the exact causes.
