2025 was a rough year over here too. This has made me feel a little hopeful… hoping I’m not just grasping at straws.

PopMart opened today in our mall so you know what that means… My 4yo still calls them “Little Bubus” and it’s so cute I don’t want to correct her.

But I also sat in the newsroom through so many launches I can still hear the voice of the NASA announcer in my head. (“And we have liftoff…”) I watched the Endeavour fly over the Hollywood Hills on the back of a 737 after it was retired. I loved going to visit it at the California Science Center.

Logan's face contorts in fear as the coaster flies up and down hills.

Not an adrenaline junkie. Or a risk taker.

The car whips around a sharp curve, the wind swallowing Logan's shrieks.

LOGAN (V.O.)
I like to play it safe. Keep my feet planted firmly on the ground.

The coaster comes to screeching halt in the station.

Or so I thought.

My capiz chandelier is my absolute favorite thing about our bathroom upgrade.

I had no idea how much the craft supplies from my youth would come in handy as a parent. Some of these paints are at least 20 years old.

IMDbPro suggestion: look at the staff of the company and then go to “Contacts” on each of their profiles. Christine Vachon has several contacts listed. Also RocketReach is a good service for tracking down emails, though it is a paid service.
