Yesterday we bought together the projects we are funding under our National Influencing programme to build connections, hear their project updates and share learning so far – as well as get inspired by opportunities to come.

WODIN are a #SmallButVital charity based in Liverpool, run by-and-for migrant women. They provide valuable digital skills to women from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds where these skills are lacking. They have helped women get better jobs, make new friends, or even start new businesses.
An image of a group of women. The fous is on a lady holding a microphone. Text overlay read: "we always encourage women to not let life get in the way of their learning. Learning digital skills helps people build confidence, skills, connections and independence. Many women use these skills to start their own businesses or progress in their careers and increase their income"

2/ Our investment in grassroots organisations has helped charities transform people’s lives. Some of these charities started with a seed of an idea and have today become household names like Childline and Changing Faces.
A talk panel including Dame Esther Ratzen, Princess Diana, and more, with overlay quote of "our funding means we can support many unproven, innovative charities, which would otherwise find it difficult to get off the ground. We helped Childline start up in 1987 with a £65,000 donation" quote from Kathleen Duncan, Director General
