Rumours of CAR & Slavin being close on an 8y x 6.5M extension. Would be excellent value for CAR. Although this would take him until he’s 39, the cap increase and sheer surplus he will provide early on should make up for it. No other dman in the league plays such an effective & clean shutdown game.
