I still like my switch alot. It feels much smaller after using my Steam Deck for awhile now, but theres some comfort to that. I dont like everygame on the switch and Im very selective on which ones, but feels good to use. Id perfer to play hefty stuff on my deck. Idk random thought

Pharos Sirius final Boss Siren is an example of how removing things like silence can hurt old content. All their spells are interruptible sure, but they cast a few back to back. Silence would cover a couple of these cause of its duration. I know its a dungeon boss, but I miss these things

my hottake is I miss the orchestra in ff14. Im really fatigued by the guitars and rock music. Its not bad, im just really want a different soundscape. Been doing a ton of arr/hws and the soundscape is just completely different. There are rock tracks, but they hit harder cause they contrast.

The scope and scale of the world I think plays a really big impact for me. I remember places in ARR zones for a variety of reasons. In newer zones its mostly just " x thing happened here" and the rest is pretty loreless. I know many dont care about these things, but I do think it matters

Im doing a bunch of ARR content lately and have been musing over alot of the time. There is something missing from SHB+ zones, they feels more and more disconnected from the world that was established in 1.0. Obviously we got far and wide, but most places are completely removed..
