Finished Star Sword Nemesis - I liked this one, but I think I wanted a little more out of it. I think the structure left a little to be desired, but I thought the characters were fun. Eris took a lil too much time to grow on me. Glad I read it, and I will pick up another book if Love writes one.

Read "Rebuild of Welcome to the NHK" A lot of people seem middled on this, but I found it to be a faithful and interesting adaptation of the story in the 2020s, so it takes on a different tone. It weirdly has a lot of sweet themes about creating erotic content together with people you love.

Last week I watched: The Morning Schedule. This one is very neat in its presentation, using different skill levels of using a camera to dictate who's filming at any given time. The plot is kinda solid until the second half where it gets a lil unfortunate and predictable. I liked it.

Maybe A Movie Thread: Really liked this adaptation of the novel. I love the pretty yet unidealized nature of Fingerbone. It's full of dying plants, dying houses, overgrowth, and signs that are falling apart. It feels very representative of rural towns. Christine Lahti nails Sylvie's vibes.
