The Vanishing Lines ruler had many features ported over from the Linear Perspective ruler, including line rotation handles to make it easy to adjust your vanishing points. Each VP will slide along a predetermined vanishing line. In this video, VP4 is tilted above VP1 for quick tilted lines.

I'm removing the auto catch-up feature I had on the perspective rulers when using the Auto Start line select mode, since it was making it impossible to draw very small lines. Instead the line will lag behind by the direction detection amount (currently 10 pixels).

"Move the two control lines so that they line up with elements
that are parallel in the scene. (ex: top and bottom of a window)
While moving a control line handle, hold space to pan the line.
Control line handle modifiers:
Ctrl: pan the line
Alt: lock the VP in place

Pro-tip: don't turn on radial grids if you have all 6 vanishing points enabled, unless you want to travel to another dimension! (disclaimer: I will not be held responsible for whatever happens to you while traveling to said other dimension)

Creating Tool's next album cover by turning radial grids on with LN's Vanishing Lines ruler, while all 6 vanishing points are enabled, created an multi-colored acid-trip of a mess.

Added rotation handles for VP1 and VP2, so you can set them up without going into VP setup mode or moving a VP manually way offscreen somewhere. This way, they just slide along the VP1-VP2 horizon. Similar to how it's done with the Linear Persp ruler.

Now that I can more accurately map screen coords to PS doc coords, it should be possible to constrain ruler centers so that they are exactly at the center of a doc pixel. This would make pixel perfect work easier, as hori/verti lines would be only as thin as needed. Thoughts?

In this screenshot, the cross on the left was drawn with the ruler center in the middle of 4 doc pixels, and the cross on the right is with the center exactly in the center of a doc pixel.

Be sure to play with the script params, you can get some interesting patterns by changing loops and levels! And for the cleanest results, you'll want to draw slowly and keep your pen on the outside of the ellipse, so that the script has enough input samples to work with.

Still experimenting with the ruler action button grid thing. I added a regular handle so you can move the grid to a good spot (pos is saved per app). Does this look weird to you guys? I've decided it will be better to have context-dependent buttons on the overlay instead of on the toolbar. This lets me for ex disable the undo button when you're at the bottom of the history stack. Here's a little WIP video. Curious to hear your thoughts/ideas! #LazyNezumi #IndieDev
