#inktober Day 5: Deer Again, blue added digitally to not buckle the paper and have a tough time tomorrow. Might consider buying a couple of non bleed markers in the future 🤔 #art #traditionalart #ink #inktober2025 #day5 #deer #birds #magpie

Day 2: Weave I've added the gray tone digitally because this paper wouldn't hold well to an ink wash #art #traditionalart #ink #inktober2025 #day2 #weave #birds #weaver

A little watercolor sketch I made on vacation. I found such a beautiful town for drawing/painting, it has everything from beautiful mountain landscapes to amazing 19th century ruins. Took a lot of ref pictures, hopefully I'll paint more of them. #art #traditionalart #watercolor #plainair #urban

Some pinecone studies, also trying out the paint brushes in Clip Studio Paint, as opposed to my go-to standard hard round brush 😅 #art #digitalart #study #pinecone

Mayquatic day 30: caribbean reef squid Wanted to try a new technique today, painted everything in grayscale, then painted in the color and final details (intentionally coloful ref). Any feedback is welcome ☺️ #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #marine #aquatic #squid

Mayquatic Day 23: Leafy Sea Dragon This one took me almost 6h to make. I wanted to post it as a wip, but I pushed through and sorta finished it. A subject this pretty deserves it :D #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #marine #aquatic #wildlife #seahorse #leafyseadragon

Mayquatic day 20: blue whale So while this is a...different interpretation of the prompt, ladies and gentleman, everyone give it up for the ocean's favorite water type pokemon: Wailmer! #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #whale #watertype #fanart #pokemon #wailmer

Mayquatic day 17: purple sea urchin. Apparently there are now too many of them, causing the disappearance of many kelp forests, thus affecting many other species Up to date with the prompts hooray :D #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #marine #aquatic #wildlife #urchin

Mayquatic progress, day 9: elkhorn coral It's so sad to think that these guys, along with their close relative, the staghorn coral (and many others, for that matter), are critically endangered 😔 #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #marine #aquatic #coral #elkhorn

‪ Day 8: dumbo octopus Bonus reveal: my grand plan is to make one big illustration that has all the subjects I draw in this challenge :D [note: please suspend your disbelief regarding habitats: fresh/salt water] #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #marine #aquatic #octopus

..and here's yesterday's Mayquatic prompt, the royal starfish. While seeking reference I found out these guys bury themselves into the see floor, thus making little sand angels and I thought that's just the best #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #marine #aquatic #starfish

Here's my art for what I thought was today's prompt for Mayquatic: cuteness supreme, the axolotl. What happened is, because I'm so good at reading, I did day 7 instead of 6 🤦 will do that tomorrow #art #artwork #digitalart #illustration #mayquatic2025 #ocean #marine #aquatic #wildlife #axolotl
