I might hop in again sometime, I’ve just had like 0 desire to bother 😅

James @lazerzz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Very funny that I just never continued with Wolverine. I didn’t even mean to drop it but clearly I’ve had 0 motivation to pick it back up again.

Its a very strange thing to process, but I think ultimately what he did is not the thing that was the influence, and the influence was ultimately a positive one, so you gotta take that, run with it and be the best you can be.

And for the record, I hope he means what he says for himself internally, I think people can find redemption in life but that doesn’t mean I personally want to associate with them or consume anything they create.

James @lazerzz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Ultimately I hope Jacob means what he says about himself, I do believe in redemption. But more so I hope that the victim hasn’t been forced to reexperience their trauma because of the wound being reopened without their consent. As much as this remaining hidden was wrong, airing it for her is too.

It’s no secret that a major inspiration for a lot of stuff I make these days was from Geller. This is a bizarre thing to process as someone who looked up to and aspired to create to the level of someone like him. That said, I can’t regret that, I simply have to move past it and keep making stuff.

It’s funny you say this because literally only months ago I was doing the same shit with Resident Evil 😭

Really enjoyed the Resident Evil film, I thought it captured RE so damn well, was just a great ride.

Most people I tend to align with seem to love it, so I’m not expecting to think it’s anything less than good.

Ed Sheeran crying and saying he thought about quitting music over criticism towards his bitch ass non-stance (which is a stance, btw) is a new level of white fragility and self-victimization my god. 21,000 kids dead but yes, your tour almost not happening is the real tragedy

I’ve taken up a #SideHustle to get some #PassiveIncome by dog sitting. Been looking after these two friendly fellas for a few days, they’re a lot of work but very sweet and snuggly. Big fan.

Indie devs pls can you just send me a code instead of asking if I want one. I can’t sit there replying to every single email asking if I want a code for your new fantasy-rogue-lite-deck-builder, if you just send the code, the odds of me checking it out increase by like 100%.

With all the everything going on, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to *say* anything about it, both the many horrors and the undeniable pockets of good. It all rushes by so fast, dizzying me, blurring my handholds. Of course, this in on purpose

James @lazerzz.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I still really love it and it plays so fucking well, the parts are all better in every way, but I find the sum of those parts a little bit lacking compared to HK. That said it’s still one of the greatest games I’ve ever played.

120

James @lazerzz.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I’m coming to the end of Silksong and while I think the game is great and the thematic core is far and away stronger than Hollow Knight, I think the game is maybe a bit too big, the amount of side quests bogs things down and the Metroidvania aspects aren’t quite as strong.

Keighley's disinterest in excluding AI trailers really devalues the whole thing. These events are rarely to my taste, but the experience of watching "ONL" was one of watching slop. Even non-AI games are tainted by the association — we have to second-guess, every time.

This is one of those weird situations where I’m sure I’ll enjoy GTA 6 more because it leans into RDR2’s unique elements, but GTA largely shouldn’t strive for realism, its core identity is tied to the opposite of that. Artistically not really right, but personally I will have more fun!

The more I ponder what Mary said here, I think it is VERY important for those who don't like this EVEN IF YOU DON'T STREAM and want to send a message to Amazon on where the Twitch community falls in the genAI discussion to go in their settings and turn this off. The metrics are what speaks to them.
