I wish Dairugger XV got as much toy attention as his wildly more popular lion counterpart. I always thought 15 very large vehicles smacking together for a giant robot was so much cooler. Man a Diaclone Reboot level of modernized DXV set would be amazing and probably cost a thousand dollars lol.

Well season 1 of The Ghost in the Shell finished today. Great overall but I still think I much prefer stand alone complex and find the goofier parts of being true to the old manga in the new show don't mesh as well with the serious and interesting concepts.

Theory about what Rockstar's gonna do after GTA6. GTA Online 2. It'll repurpose a lot of the assets, locations n such from the single player game and it'll all be rebuilt and adjusted for online 2 as its own separate thing that is run like a dedicated live service itself, isolated from 6.

Watched that Masters of the Universe movie. It's fucking brilliant. Huge shame it bombed at the theatre. Highly recommend giving it a watch even if you don't have he-man nostalgia they clearly had a lot of fun making it and leaning in to the silliness. Kinda wish it was even sillier but ah well.

Interesting that the red demon in the new god of war is a Mongolian one while Sekmet is obviously egyption. Makes me wonder what other pantheons will show up. Seems a good excuse to bring back Zeus but the whole setting being the afterlife makes it odd, guess Faye is going to soul crush them lol.

Absolutely shocked my computer can handle Pragmata with path tracing on pretty well. Obvious fps drop but the precise simulated lights n shadows and all the reflective materials working perfectly is pretty amazing looking. But I still prefer a smooth 100+ fps, regular ray tracing is fine.

3 hours in to Pragmata, its very very good. - Arkham Asylum level design with detailed locations. - Diana is surprisingly not annoying at all. - Very satisfying gameplay loop of shoot, dodge, hack. - Story interestingly tackles self-generative things and excessive-automation.

It's very strange to me how many TF fans think shiny = always good. FT, XTB and DST's constructicons are all made actively uglier by shiny coat treatment. Why does anyone like that shit on them, it looks horrendously bad on all three sets. Gives off such a lame garish vibe that offends my eyes.

One of my all time favorite tower defense games Defense Grid 2 suddenly got new dlc with new maps and story content after 12 years which is nuts. I hope the devs are ok gosh I'd love a DefGrid 3. Feel like no one else has ever gotten the genre just perfect like Hidden Path did.

Played the demo for Replaced, a side scrolling cyberpunk game that has arkham style combat and amazing visual design and style. Apparently full game is out in three weeks, been waiting years for it and I think its going to be something special.

Honestly I think Ghibli peaked as a studio back with films like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. Feels like a lot of the imagination and fun of their older work is absent today. Makes sense a lot of their staff left n formed other studios. Need to watch their stuff now.

Played the Pragmata demo. It's quite fun. Checked the price tag on the full game and laughed. Capcom has sent it out to die thinking people are gonna pay that. It'll be super discounted not long after release I bet and never get a sequel. sigh. fuckin idiots.
