I'd say it's fairly sturdy, it holds poses pretty well and stands up just fine despite the body being heavier than you'd expect (this guy is about 22cm head to tail so pretty big!) but it could be better, I think in a future prototype I will use better quality elastic (I'm just using what I had-

Thank you so much! It's unlikely I'll sell the files themselves as I don't like the idea of them potentially getting redistributed online and people selling unauthorised prints, buuut it's not a definite no, I might be open to selling them to known acquaintances/friends in the future, we'll see.

I used the basic white PLA I received with the printer but once I'm happy with the design itself I might try different materials, as well as better quality elastic for the articulation (or possibly premade ball joints).

There's some things I want to change but generally I'm very happy with it considering my lack of experience. I might try to attempt a hinged jaw in the future if I can figure out how to engineer that. The 3D printing process itself was a learning process too (oh god I hate doing supports).

I was generously gifted a 3D printer by a family member who didn't need it anymore so making more detailed ball jointed sculpts is a lot more feasible for me now.

The thylacine was my very first attempt using polymer clay, but I don't really have the time or patience at the moment to make detailed sculpts by hand, so I went for an extremely simplistic teddy bear esque style for it.

I've now released a compilation of the fourth 50 animal species doodles from my ko-fi page in PDF form! The 86-page PDF includes 48 colour illustrations and 2 grayscale illustrations, as well as 22 pages of sketches and unused scraps, some of which I have never posted online before.

As things are I'm sitting on a huge pile of unedited speedpaints that I just haven't dedicated the time to editing and uploading (though I hate to say it, recently I feel more hesitant about inadvertently providing training data for AI to mimic speedpaints, not that I haven't done it already)
