LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 03/03/2025Gaming shouldn’t be about 100 hour forced game play. It should be about wanting a sense to finish it, enjoying it, wanting perhaps a sequel. For sandbox, it should be refining the experience, play testing and bug fixing first. Visuals later. Get the build spot on and take it from there. 000 0
LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 03/03/2025PS5 and Series X just feel empty. Rehashed games, nothing that jumps out and says - this is a system seller. Many first party exclusives no longer remaining exclusive. Huge game downloads which don’t work for my time on the TV and yes, most are buggy for huge costs. 000 0
LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 03/03/2025Games just felt rehashed, buggy and lack something. Fun I think… Gran Turismo, SSX, MGS2, ZOE on PS2, Halo, Fable on XB, Rogue Squadron on GC. They pushed those systems, were a massive leap over prev gen and either upped the genre or provided something fresh. Played all of them for countless hrs 100 1
LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 03/03/2025I recall when digital was about to launch and there was the whole - prices will be lower due to no transport/pressing. That never happened. Rarely do you see a Nintendo game on discount. With physical media gasping its last breaths on consoles it will only get worse. 010 1
LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 22/02/2025It was so like that! I admit I fall in to the stereotypical parent. Where you going, when will you be back…. 010 1

LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 20/02/2025Past few weeks assembled a 3D printer. Left (the product), middle the finished article and right - where it all began. Every nut and bolt assembled which took 7 days for me to achieve. How it actually printed anything with my DIY skills is beyond me! Stellar outcome though! 020 2
LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 20/02/2025It’s an odd one - I’ve had my runs in. As you know and more than once. Take it in your stride bud. 000 0
LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 20/02/2025So in an era of Roblox, Series X and PS5, it shows that ‘Retro’ isn’t actually retro but rather simply, gaming. Kids love the Dreamcast. Which is good, as so do I. Sadly have nowhere (yet) to set the CRT up full time - will require a new desk. I haven’t found the right desk yet :( 010 1
LawrenceMail @lawrencemail.bsky.social · 20/02/2025First PC I bought was a 486 33Mhz. Incredible tech for the day. When I upgraded to a DX2-66 - it was generational leap in performance. 020 2
