You might be right. I saw two people that were "influencers" in that crowd. It's hard to sort out just what was going there. In the end, I hope it has given Mrs. Guerrero some comfort to know that Maine's governor visited the memorial place.

Agreed. I don't feel sorry for her. I have confidence that she understands the anger and grief of this moment. And that sometimes that anger is directed at anyone in power. Her years as a criminal prosecutor would have taught her that.

I think this woman is the person who was passing out bottled water when we assembled in front of Susan Collins office yesterday. She was tending to all kinds of issues and needs of the crowd. Not surprised she stayed the course w/this bully because she's a solid person. Can't say that about him.

In Platner's video we witnessed what can be an effect of growing up wealthy. During his campaign he described his relationship behavior as being "a bad boyfriend". But what's in that toss off? If you're wealthy, they'll let you do it? Strident denial and blaming others isn't working this time.

We were told here in Maine that Janet Mills wasn't popular up in the second district where there are ammo shops everywhere. We were told those voters up there might find GP to their liking. In fact, Janet Mills won the governorship without winning the second district. It can be done.

I want ice and detention camps closed down. So in the spirit of doing the next best thing I'm voting for GP. The injury of electing a person who sported the tattoos that he has is not lost on me. But I'm making judgement that he's a vote for stopping the American made horror camps.

I'm a Maine voter astonished at how he has been the turning point for progressive women I know to completely abandon Me Too and Believe Women. Dismissing a woman who had a long term intimate relationship with the candidate as a "Political operative" has been hard to watch.

As a Maine Democrat, I feel it would've helped to have had debates in the primary race for the Senate. Never seeing the candidates (Platner, Costello and Laflamme) side-by-side has created a void for me. And I can't understand, even if you are way ahead, not doing it.
