Saying shounenshit like shounen also isn't plagued with it.

Back to doing subs for PPGZ, every episode ends with one of them saying "Pop de happy, mune kyun smile!" but I thought they were saying "make you smile!" for so long...

I've never read or watched To Love Ru but I thought the title was pronounced like how it's spelled, it's pronounced Trouble/toraburu?

I was struggling playing blu-rays on my PC too, like I had a bunch I blind bought when they were cheap I had never watched, I'm just running everything through VLC now. Also I found out VLC lets you use the pop-up Blu-ray menu.

Last night Brendan Fraser came to me in my dreams and told me to watch his new movie, then handed me this DVD.

I just want them to call it STAR WARS X, they've earned that at least.

011

Law @lawdraws.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

They could have just made it a Lobo movie with Supergirl starring as the spunky, dorky sidekick hoping to cure her dog.

010

Law @lawdraws.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

It really does just feel like they wanted to do Guardians of the Galaxy but without any heart and a waaaay worse script. They even took a line from Avengers Infinity War. People laughed at Tony Stark calling the alien Squidward, when Supergirl did it it's just awkward and reminds me of Iron Man.

110

Law @lawdraws.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Watched Supergirl. It's so unoriginal, it reminded me of late 2000s comic book movies, and the best parts were on Krypton and Earth which is like 10% of the movie. Lobo was great but he wasn't in it enough either.

Mario 64 Remake idea! Every level would be a different painting style, when you'd jump into the painting you'd just be there, it would be seamless, and Mario would look different in every style...

Batman Annual 13 (1989) is so fun, a flashback to Jason as Robin in his winter suit and presumably Barbara's last outing as Batgirl before the Killing Joke, plus Bruce showing Alfred his Batsuit for the first time lol

One of my favorite things Peter Cullen did was this very specific Toonami bumper So when Cartoon Network acquired Hamtaro, they didn't know what to do with it so they shoved this wholesome show onto Toonami, and Toonami clearly didn't know how to advertise it Peter's voice just makes it funnier

Not really a big toy guy anymore but I really like the Mattel DC figs, they're so cheap and colorful, and basically have everything I wanted as a kid, cloth capes and the utility belts hold gadgets and can come off.

I love when they do stuff like this, like I think one of the Magic Knight Rayearth openings had a better quality creditless version so they just redid the credits in Japanese and used that rather than use the included opening.
