His footing is sure. It would be easy to jump across the way, play coy and flash his scars. A little story or two about his upbringing Underground. Wanting glances stolen through his dark fringe. A proposition with all the circumstances working in Levi’s favor. He has so little to lose.

Mr. Lucky is the type of man Levi likes: big and strong with eyes that smile like they’ve seen wonderful things that Levi cannot fathom. And still, it isn't enough.
