I had to go to the ER tonight. It's going to be a big hit on my already poor finances as I am currently uninsured and will now have to pause my job hunting as I recover. Anything is greatly appreciated in helping cover the medical bill as well as helping keep me afloat. Thank you ko-fi.com/cckirby

Half my friends said they didn't realize this was an edit so I guess here's a lyric version

it's considered bad luck for couples to see each other before the wedding on the day of because that would mean seeing spoilers for each other's limited event outfits and there's a superstition that they won't get the pulls they need during the event period if they do that

i was gonna stream tonight but for various reasons I wayyyy overslept and now it's later than I usually like to stream so we'll see, either i'll sleep more later and be back on a normal pace or I'll stay up through the night and we can think about an early morning stream

040

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

wait why is it almost 3am what i have been doing all night

one time for just a moment i mistook a cardboard cutout for a real person

Im not very good with my hands, but i find sometimes i surprise myself, usually if i am paying absolutely no attention to what im doing

I like getting drinks with no ice usually but rarely i will like a little ice because i enjoy the sound it makes when it moves

120

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

in general im kind of immune to gacha type effects between that and the various tricks used in obfuscating costs make me irritated rather than the intended "ah, whatever"

120

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

its hard to think of these on the fly so here's some random mundane facts about me. first off, im basically numb to skinner box type effects, like i can appreciate the artistry that goes into making an exciting presentation but it doesnt tickle my brain the way its supposed to

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

there are actually things i wanna say about deltarune but my dream scenario is someone im real close to wants to talk about it and share all sorts of music and fanart in a 1v1 conversation and i think i'll be waiting a while yet on that

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I just wanted to explain why streams are infrequent with me a little

160

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I think it is difficult for me to keep up with streaming sometimes because it is hard for me to come up with stuff to talk about. It is not often that i actually engage with the culture around things I enjoy and usually my life is uneventful and if I soeak my mind honestly you get bottle cake

"things you might have missed" look how that one little word changes that completely, now it's polite and doesn't make assumptions

030

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

i strongly, strongly dislike when media tries to imply it knows how I feel or what I know. "things you missed in" "you have the wrong idea about" no, you don't know me or what knowledge I have and I also don't have the impulse to prove it to my screen so you can't win by getting under my skin either

hey everyone I just wanted you to know that the reason I've been playing castlevania every october is because I want you to steal the music. go into konami's house and grab as many cds as you can carry and run

taking a break ended up being a good thing, very first try on the second stream I cruised through it. and also apparently had my mouse cursor in the middle of the stream for most of the run :(

I genuinely mean this. I cannot imagine a more bleak dystopian notion than the idea of all art being turned into slop designed to coddle my exact perceived intentions. The point of literature, film, music, and art is to be exposed to the interior lives of others. Who are these people.

i got the game cleaned up back to stage 6 but I'm not really in the mood , one of the downsides of bloodlines is I find stages 2 and 3 really draining because of all the autoscrollers, confident next session I get it though

030

Lavender @lavenderfw.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

okay, time to do cv bloodlines again! this game's kinda in an odd spot for me in that I know it well yet somehow have a tough time with it due to various errors each year so this could take awhile twitch.tv/lavender_fw
