My reward for surviving the first workweek after 6 weeks of sick leave…. #Manhwa #Danmei #BL

Vol. 3 and 4 of “Our Sunny Days“ (BL Manhwa, German translation). The main characters are on both covers in loving poses.
Vol. 1 of “Panguan – The Twelfth Gate“ by Mu Su Li (Danmei, English translation). Both main characters are on the cover. Beside is a poster, some stickers, a bookmark and a little cardboard cutout (?) as part of the special edition.

Post you from a different era in your life.

31, student. The year of my autism diagnosis. The age at which I seem to have remained stuck internally. (A person that looks female is making a selfie in front of a mirror with a Sonic Ericsson mobile. They are wearing a red hoodie, have middlelong braun hair and are smiling.)

Project M had another song last year. Taengmo-Pan. A song about Watermelon-Smoothie. Yeah. And between all the „I want a waaatermelon smooooothie…“ this banger line and I‘m not sure if it‘s subtext or just a wrong translation. But after „Handsome“ I would say the latter…

Songtext „taengmo-pan“ by Project M. One line translated per google translator: „oh pretty girl, how about some watermelon juice from my shop? I guarantee it‘ll make you choke, but once you try me, you‘ll be hooked!“

#LowTideInTwilight Finally! I could have bought volumes 1 and 2 in German months ago, but I wanted to wait for the English translation.

Bookcover of The Manhwa „Low Tide in Twilight“ Vol. 1 by euja, with Kim Euihyun on it. Looks like he is at the sea and looking back over his shoulder. The dominating colour is gloomy black and grey…

This is the upper part of one of my BILLYs. 4 rows with a broader width. And it looks empty, but all my other Danmei are ebooks and I‘m waiting for some of the series to start (or go on) 3rd and 4th row are Omegaverse. 1st and everything on the right is German translation, the rest is English.

Bookshelf with BL books. Novels and Comics. In English and German. The four rows are still half empty. (Some of the titles are: Dangerous Convenience Store, Dear Door, Unintentional lovestory, Love so pure, Guardian, Fake Fact Lips 1+2, On or Off, Megumi and Tsugumi, No god in Eden, Love is an illusion, and more.) Most of the manhwa and manga I would like to own are not available as books yet.

On my way back home. I‘m sitting in a warm train, the view outside the window is nice. In (northern) Germany it‘s snowing a lot at the moment…

View out of the train window. You see trees, fields – and a lot of snow. Everything is white.

@justamushroom.bsky.social do you know the duet of keng and namping? I love how you can identify their voices. Keng so soft and gentle and Namping stronger and louder. I have it on repeat and endless loop today..

Screenshot of apple music, the duet of Keng and Namping „Never apart“. On the cover they are sitting in front of microphones and are holding hands.

I'm now truly convinced that the German translations on LezhinDE must be AI-generated. Some of them are really bad and read like AI slop. Today I bought the German version of "Our Sunny Days," published by Papertoons, and the translation is surprisingly good!

AO3 went down two hours earlier than originally planned. That messed everything up for me. Then again, I'm new to Discord, and everything there is completely overwhelming. Oh yeah, and I also have to work, so I can't lie down with my series. It's going to be a busy Friday.

Okay. This is my Watchplan for this week. On the left my weekly series, on the right the series I want to watch in one sitting. Guardian is on the list because I've already started it and don't want to start anything new until I've finished watching that one.

Look on two pieces of paper where I wrote down which series I want to watch this week and in the next weeks.
