after routing west *then* it'll route eastwards. it's easier for me to match purely westwards(i.e., west coast & jp) rather than eastwards. the routing introduces enough ping to make the game not want to match me. that+ I only get fiber to the node, not to the house

yeah low player count is always an issue but when I have 4 other people finding more games in 20 min than I could in 1 hour (at same XP), with people in their lobbies within explos matchmaking pool, there's a problem. but! I got an explanation from my partner. essentially, my ISP routes west.

I swear Nintendo thinks its a funny joke to put all the explos in a lobby together

another experiment was getting people to queue at the same time as me who I *could* match up against (switched over to heavy to get a wider weapon pool). they all got games. we all have a similar x power normally. I have good internet. I am confused and annoyed.

I literally can't find a game to find out (2 games in 1.5 hours) 😭 I'm usually around 1900-2000 for calcs it's just that explo matches up against only jet squelcher or wellstring I think

why did i choose tentatek division. i only have a couple hours a week outside of practice to play this game! it's a huge waste of time to just wait

Occasionally I see posts about how high and top level need to foster more growth in mid and low level. I think there is more that can be done in that regard, but if you're saying this then I have a tip you can implement RIGHT NOW not contingent on asking other people to do things: go to your locals.

we've been working on a lot of stuff and we're *so* close to getting things to how I'm envisioning it. our weapon comps force us to have v strong teamwork and discipline. I think figuring this now will help us tons in the long run. we could make our lives easier with different comps but nahhh
