Day 18 of #ArtAdventCalendar is another one I'm not sure wholly counts as art, but I've been putting all my leftover paint on this canvas for a couple years. I think it's done and I'm starting a new one in the new year

Many layers of acrylic paint applied to a canvas with a palette knife. Dominant colours are pinks greens and grays.

Day 17 of #ArtAdventCalendar is one of the mermaids I embroidered a while ago.. maybe 2021?

An embroidered mermaid, mostly in black thread. Her hair is filled in with orange, red & purple thread. The mermaid is stretching in a circle shape with her tail fins almost touching her head. The stitching has lots of little mistakes and you can still see some of the mostly erased pencil under-drawing

Day 14 of #ArtAdventCalendar is the first painting I did when I decided to take up acrylic painting in 2020 (I was, and remain, nervous about my use of colour lol)

Thought I might give #ArtAdventCalendar a try. These are some bunnies I doodled while waiting to see if I would have jury duty
