I used to have a friend who said that when people were behaving badly it meant they needed love a little more that day.

There's plenty that today's kids have to deal with. We don't need to "toughen them up." Today's kids have to worry about gun violence at school, all manner of bullying and unkindness. We need to help them see beauty in the world - in others who may not always be kind.

Yes, I kind of do the same thing ... send out positive messages instead of negative ones.

You change the world by changing how you show up in it - by ensuring your impact on the people you pass are positive. It all ripples.

We never know how much a little act of #kindness - a letter, a small gift, a smile, a few words, can mean to someone else. I know people in nursing homes are often very lonely.

It's good to know that this is complete. It's definitely been a long time in getting to completion.

I have been recharging a bit the past couple of days. I either caught or cold or had bad allergies for a couple of days. So, following my own #advice a bit. Recharged in order to regain wholeness. #wisdom

I agree with this. We need to fight for what is right and wrong. But we also need to be less scolding of people who voted the other way. Many are changing their minds. We need to invite them in. We need to not be less fierce in standing up for right. But less mean. #kindnessinpolitics

Sesame Street taught a lot about community, love, and diversity to a lot of kids - as well as counting and ABC's. Mr. Rogers too taught about kindness, compassion and community. Lessons that are as important today as ever.

They're beautiful. My mom had a couple of pet deer for a long time. They finally passed of old age. They're definitely missed. They're such beautiful and gentle animals.
