Fetterman the traitor goes on and on about f "Fighting for steel ". Does he know there are only about 44,500 jobs in the steel industry in the US? There are that many health care job openings in Pennsylvania, that many physicians let alone all health care workers in Pennsylvania.

4/4 Think of the money saved if they sent fewer. Condensing them to monthly statements would be fine. Or, as many organizations do now, give patients the option of receiving them electronically. UPMC, you are a leader in health care. How about innovating this system too?

2/5 I received a whopping 85 pieces of paper in January, 14 in February, and 16 in March. UPMC has about 4 million beneficiaries in western Pennsylvania. The cost of the paper (BTW this is not cheap printer paper!) and postage is probably negligible to a behemoth organization like UPMC.

1/5 Here’s your Medicare dollars at work: Between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2026, I received 116 pieces of paper from my Medicare Advantage plan, UPMC for Life. That stacks up to ½ inch of paper. Of those, 80 were EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and the rest were notices offering translation service
