one thing i realized now that i'm making a more time consuming ambitious project is that it's not guaranteed that what you're making will be good, or will be a good addition to the complex building block that is a proejct. However, making it is a blast because making art is always a cool process

literally one of the main reasons why i started making digital collages only using Paint is that I wanted to show people that you can make rad art with nothing except 15 minutes and the most basic of tools. and i'd love to do a VN using these as backgrounds.

i'm very happy with my year so far! i started taking electric guitar lessons (i've played piano since high school but rarely touched other instruments), also started learning how to play jazz on the piano, i've been learning some kanji too! I always loved learning andi don't intend to stop!

But for now here's the plan, each room will have a few variants for important characters, a variant if no one important is there, variants for emotions and a "villain" variant. That's about 11 variants for each 11 rooms! I'm about 1/3 done!

I also started making variants for the villain, where their chord progression haunts the rooms BGMs by overriding the normal chord progressions. It's all very fun stuff, but it's making the process of making album versions of this a real puzzle! But I'll start on finishing the music first!

At first, the variants of the room BGMs were dependent on if an important NPC was present (if the queen is there, then her theme plays and improvises), but now i've added emotional variants that could play if the roleplaying in a scene showcases a clear emotion.

yeah it's the main campaign can be done solo no problem, but then when it's done there's a ton of hard boss fights where it's more doable with other people lmao. fun weird game, but granblue just has the sauce with the music

however they were all bangers! i also played rain code and it wasn't very good but also more interesting than bad (the look and vibe is great though but the story only became fun during the last 2 chapters). And The Hundred Line was such a good payoff. immense game that is nearly always excellent

hell yes! i also did this late last year and this year to prepare for The Hundred Line and it was so much worth it. Though I did all the Uchikoshi games first, then the Kodakas. Since i heard good and bad stuff about danganronpa i was ready to stop whenever i felt they weren't interesting

all this would be solved with bluetooth audio! i even remember on ps4 my solution was to have a fightstick plugged into the ps4, with the aux and the controller plugged into the fightstick, bc the aux jack in the fightstick was more reliable than the ps4 controller's jack. nightmare for audio lovers
