What drives #dissociation? In a study of adults with #PTSD (some with #DID), extreme negative beliefs like “there’s something wrong with me as a person” were linked to dissociation. When these beliefs decreased during treatment, so did dissociation. Free publication access: tinyurl.com/5n7f4hke

We found clinical subgroups within a brain-based predictive marker of #dissociation. The marker worked best for those with #DID but less well for those with higher integration. Understanding these nuances is key to applying brain markers in practice. tinyurl.com/yc4etvyn
