Leda's path last mostly because I knew I would hate sirocco a lot and I do. But more importantly i like that leda's reaction to a woman in distress is to take her on a nice date, she's so gentlemanly

Okay and see having the relationship with fabio be so thoughtful just makes the thing with raksha even worse. "Do you love her" why would he? Why does she? All they know about each other is that they're both pretty. Really very lame

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I like Bertrand a lot, I think if he had a path it would be my favourite since he has that kind of revolutionary spirit the rest of the protags lack, but oh my god the fight against him in Dietrich's path is fucking lame. Welcome to my saw trap dietrich

130

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Right like Fabio is just. Unambiguously Dietrich's primary love interest and he is treated as such and gets to straight-up say "I love you." I'm fully flabbergasted I was NOT expecting them to be so legitimate and i do love this for them

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I do still think that Dietrich should have a torrid affair with mars but it turns out I do actually buy his and fabio's romance. I was not expecting it to be deliberately and thoughtfully constructed, fire emblem is usually pretty bad at that. But no these divas are in love and it's kind of crazy

i'm so sorry for your nightmare country. that's really horrific. and yeah i think desensitization exercise is probably pretty on the money, this admin seems pretty invested in wearing down the spirit of the people

the thing about theodora is that she has a lot of seiros-like shapes. and this appeals to me

this is why they had to put down char aznable

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

K I DID think, fandom being what it is, that people were exaggerating what's going on between dietrich and Fabio. But no Fabio is straight up like "I would become a woman if it would help you love me" and dietrich goes "fabio, please, i am bisexual. You do not need to do all that"

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

LMAO i mean fair enough, it just didn't scratch the itch for me. weird*ly callous*, but not fully *weird* in the way i was hoping

110

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

and actually now's as good a time as any to say that i think it's weird that aurora and castor are like. legally married LMFAO how does that work? human relationships with the gods should be a little weird i think, aurora is too much of a Normal Human Woman. i want her to be off-putting

I might be a contrarian at heart but it is going to be mars/dietrich for me actually. He SHOULD be the pet mortal of the god of strength and conquest and mars WOULD have statues erected for him to ensure his eternal remembrance

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

honestly there aren't many spoilers for 3h, at least from what i've seen, since the game takes place across and ocean and a couple hundred years prior LOL. so you don't need to be patient if you don't want to!

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

020

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

#fefwspoilers k after that i dipped into part 3 to see some of the timeskip designs and um. well i don't love them so far. and also cai gets paler?? uh??

210

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

#fefwspoilers AAAAA WHY DID PEOPLE SAY THE WAR PHASE WAS 6 CHAPTERS!! WHY IS THERE ANOTHER MAP!! LET ME OUT

121

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

VERY FUNNY THING TO SAY RIGHT BEFORE TEN THOUSAND DRAGOON SLOG. just kidding peter!! you are an invaluable member of the team!! hahah please kill the dragon. now

120

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

#fefwspoilers but actually this time. romantic-ass music they play while creek plants his death flag at nathan's feet

170

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Was just doing an audit of the team bc i actually have Too Many good units on Cai's path and. at levels 39 and 37 respectively, tialla and peter have the same strength. i'm so sorry buddy but that's actually not gonna cut it going forward

290

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

RIGHT LMFAO... theodora and alexandra have a very sweet C support where they set up future engagements and then WHOOPS actually they never speak again!

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

??? me when go to bat for a guy who confessed to committing the crime in question bsky.app/profile/jaco...

0150

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

RIGHT like there's gotta be a middle ground between 3h's support exhaustion and guys like Nuzzuo getting literally one support 💀

110

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

thank you kindly!! honestly it's kinda crazy to have validation that fedex is scamming me after all this time LMFAO

110

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Very interesting!! Thank you for sending this! The "nerfed dodge tanking" thing definitely explains some of my experiences on theodora's route 💀

020

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Oh, actually, while I've got you: do you know if this game went back to single-roll hit odds?

210

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

-- because she's having a way harder time than she really ought.

100

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Tobias I had as a warrior at the time, so he wasn't as tanky as he got when I finally gave up and moved him into an armoured class (a thing i broadly avoid because i don't like armoured classes, but obviously I needed to here). But anyway this is why I say theodora's path has been unlucky for me--

210

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

actually just had a pretty good direct point of comparison: I unlocked seteth's recruitment at level ~25 in both paths. in cai's path they beat these guys no problem; in theodora's path, she had to do the battle by herself because she was the only unit who could survive a single round of combat.

110

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

thank for the insight!! i'm definitely glad i called, because yeah, they're clearly gouging me in ways i didn't realise 😭

total value was 281.34 CAD on digital prints. The code given is 4911.91.00.90! Initial charge was 143.91, and the revised charge was 50.13.

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

God, Noctula turned out like complete shit for me, i had to stop using her 💀 Maybe it is a matter of getting used to the mechanics though, because I played part of dietrich's with a friend and didn't have much trouble with it, but i've also started getting used to the idea of using the blessings

100

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

And like I appreciate it obviously, I thanked her profusely, but why the fuck are duty payments vibes-based. why was the delivery guy allowed to arbitrarily assign me a bill nearly three times higher than it apparently should have been. what the fuck

1230

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

got hit with a $140 duty bill on a restock, which i am broadly used to, but the fedex portal wasn't working do I called them. First thing the lady says is "why is this so high?? this should be like $50, tops." And she changed it. Just knocked $90 off.

1271

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

this is what i gather from my friends still in academia, yeah 💀

020

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

oh i was on the ball with that shit. i had her renown maxed out at like ch 9 or 10 LOL, I just didn't have any units except bonaventure who didn't get doubled by everything on the map. or alexandra who did not damage and couldnt promote bc you have to do cai's path to unlock dragoons 💀

110

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

as I advance in my normie job i invariably get more and more people asking me why i'm there and not, like, in a university or something, and i have to explain the brain damage every time and they're always like "jesus christ that's horrible" but it isn't. the current state of academia is worse.

130

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

man i dont know if all my units in theodora's path (except theodora and the middle-aged gay couple who care for her) were just turning out like shit, but so far Cai's route has been the Fun Steppe Vacation to Theodora's Tormentous Nightmare

561

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

it's so validating to see you trim the rims LOL. the little old ladies at my guild make fun of me for not doing it in the throwing phase, but it's way easier to just trim!!

100

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Rewriting Bahr Vahn in my mind because Yikes and I do think that he and nuzzuo should have had, um, any relationship at all.

130

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Like it turns out that I can forgive almost any character flaws in a unit that wants to do ~22x2 damage per round of combat and not get hit. Bards do in fact sing songs of praise for guaran and it's because I paid them to do it

020

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

see i found guzran really irritating on theodora's route bc i don't enjoy that kind pf braggadocio as a joke character, it just doesn't appeal to me, but now that i'm on cai's route i can see that he's actually not bragging at all and really is just that good. i was not familiar with his game.

2160

Laurencin | loathsome charfuckr @laurencin.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

got party rocked by CAHtoeBLEEPass and his buddy so bad in ch1 of theodora's war phase i switched to cai for a bit and as much as i genuinely dislike a love triangle. i do think it's funny that the thing tialla likes about cai is his GNC swag
