Today it is back to Mandie for her review of the very latest book in the Jack Warr series from Lynda La Plante, Crucified. Mandie has been really enjoying playing catch up on these books, and as I …

A rundown of some of the thrillers and crime fiction books publishing today - 10th April 2025.

.📚 𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 ℝ𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕖𝕨 📚~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~“Vanished”Jack Warr Series - Book 3By Lynda La Plante. Genre: Crime Fiction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Book 3 in the Jack Warr series and another great instalment! I think these books get better and better as we get to know Jack more and his characteristics. I really warmed more to him in this book I would say and we got much more of an insight into his life and background. In this book Jack takes on a case that the police don’t seem to be interested in. A 70 year old widow has reported several times her concerns about break ins and who she thinks is behind them… DS Jack Warr comes to the rescue and decided to help her get to the bottom of this case. The case is a lot darker than first expected and definitely took a whole different turn to what I was expecting - a very cleverly thought out plot! I would say this book has been my favourite of the series so far! Looking forward to continuing the series. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Thank you so much for the gifted copy of the book and for having me as part of this awesome Blogathon! #LyndaLaPlante@bonnierbooks_uk @thebookdealer (AD/PR). #Vanished #JackWarrSeries #CompulsiveReaders #Blogathon #CrimeFiction #CrimeSeries #BookReview #Bookstagram
