When the world feels hopeless, I like to plant things. Maybe I don't have the power to create the exact future that I want, but at least my future will have the joy of homegrown tomatoes. This is my grandma's backyard where I first learned to appreciate the value of growing things. #painting #art

Another painting study, this time from my old neighborhood. Always loved the reflective windows multiplying the palms on that corner building. #NorthHollywood #painting #art

It's been a rough start to the year for this city I love, but trying to find some peace by painting slices of beauty in my neighborhood. #art #painting

Hello new followers 👋💚 I'm Laurel, an animation artist specializing in color & paint. I love gardening, food, and raging against the machine. I'm looking for work, so I have more time to paint than usual which means more art to share in the coming weeks! Until then, enjoy my goof of a dog.

Hi, I'm Mochi. I love eating rotten things.
