Ahh. The "That Guy" effect with spoilers. "That Guy" being annoyed a youtuber 'spoiled' an ending in a thumbnail (of a very long series of videos), and thus decides to spoil the ending of another game they are currently playing. Nobody likes That Guy. We all know it. So why do they do it?

Quick test to show how serious someone who claims "trans people aren't losing any rights" (or similar): ask if they'd like to be treated the way trans folk are. Most of the time, if they understand the question, they'll get very defensive.

Occasionally I'm reminded that I surround myself with intelligent people when I stray out of my bubble and get exposed to the rest of society. And the bar never ceases to be lowered. Having to explain to someone what 'profits' and 'customers' mean isn't something I expected to have to do today.
