@viriditax.bsky.social thanks! topics have additional in-built constrains than MOFA factors, i.e., peaks & genes linked within a topic must be in close proximity to each other (cis-linked), to capture cis-regulation instead of just correlative associations. This allows to interpret topics as GRNs😃
