Of course, thanks Ali, I’ll keep you up to date! I should be able to share a pre-recorded version of the talk after the conference too.

I’m presenting my research on how veterinary medicines impact dung attractiveness @britishecologicalsociety.org annual meeting next Thursday. Please come along to the Sidlaw Auditorium 11.15am to learn how vet meds can limit resources or act as ecological traps to dung beetles! 🪲 #BES2025

Had a lovely day at the Buglife pollinator workshop in Porth, learning more on how to ID pollinators for @pomscheme.bsky.social. The highlight was seeing Longhorn Bees, and finally getting some photos of these very busy insects 🐝 Thanks for a fab day out!

It’s that time of year again - beetle time! 🪲 Some sprightly Teuchestes fossor dung beetles burrowing into my gloves. These beetles have impressive digging power 💪 All the better to break down those cow pats! 💩

I’ve followed the herd over to Bluesky 👋 🐮 I’m Laura, 2nd year PhD student @uniexecec.bsky.social with the ECORISC CDT studying the effects of veterinary medicines on #dungbeetles (and their #microbiomes). I enjoy rummaging through cow 💩 for invertebrate treasures! 🐄 🪲
